Teadlased ja arstid hoiatavad 5G võimalike tõsiste tervisemõjude eest

Meie, allakirjutanud – üle 180 teadlase ja arsti 36 riigist -, soovitame peatada 5. generatsiooni tehnoloogia ehk 5G paigaldamise, kuni selle tehnoloogia võimalikke ohtlikke mõjusid inimtervisele ja keskkonnale on täielikult uuritud tehnoloogiaärist sõltumatute teadlaste poolt. Lisaks juba olemasolevale andmesidetehnoloogiale (2G, 3G, 4G, wifi jne) tõstab 5G olulisel määral kokkupuudet raadiosageduslike elektromagnetväljadega (RS EMVd). RS EMVde kahjulik mõju inimestele ja keskkonnale on tõestatud.

5G toob kaasa juhtmevaba kiirgusega vältimatu kokkupuute massiivse suurenemise
5G tehnoloogia toimib hästi vaid lühikestel vahemaadel ja see läbib kehvasti tahket materjali. Vaja läheb palju uusi antenne ja 5G täielikuks rakendamiseks tuleb linnaaladel paigaldada antennid igale 10.-12. majale, mis suurendab massiivselt vältimatut kokkupuudet kiirgusega.
Koos “üha intensiivsema juhtmevaba tehnoloogia kasutusega” (1) ei saa mitte keegi kiirgust vältida, kuna lisaks suurele hulgale 5G saatjatele (mis hakkavad olema koguni ka majades, poodides ja haiglates sees) lisandub hinnanguliselt “10-20 miljonit ühendust“ (2) (külmkappide, pesumasinate, turvakaamerate, isesõitvate autode ja bussidega jne), mis saavad osaks asjade internetist. Kõik see kokku võib põhjustada RS EMVdega pikaajalise kokkupuute märkimisväärse suurenemise kõikide ELi kodanike jaoks.
RS EMVde kahjulik mõju on juba tõestatud
Üle 230 teadlase enam kui 40 riigist (3) on väljendanud oma tõsist muret elektriliste ja juhtmevabade seadmete tekitatava kõikjal oleva ja suureneva EMVdega kokkupuute üle juba enne 5G paigaldamist.
Nad viitavad faktile, et “arvukad viimase aja teadusartiklid näitavad, et EMK mõjutab elusorganisme enamikest rahvusvahelistest ja riiklikest kiirgusnormidest oluliselt madalamatel tasemetel“. Nende mõjude hulka kuuluvad suurenenud vähirisk, rakustress, kahjulike vabade radikaalide arvu suurenemine, geneetilised kahjustused, reproduktiivsüsteemi struktuurilised ja funktsionaalsed muutused, õpiraskused ja mäluhäired, neuroloogilised kõrvalekalded ja negatiivne mõju inimeste üldisele heaolule. Negatiivsed mõjud ei puuduta üksnes inimrassi, kasvav hulk tõestusmaterjali näitab kahjulikku mõju (4) ka taimedele(5) ja loomadele (6).
Pärast teadlaste 2015. aasta pöördumise koostamist tehtud lisauuringud kinnitavad selgelt juhtmevaba tehnoloogia EMVdega kaasnevaid tõsiseid terviseriske. National Toxicology Program (NTP) (7), maailma suurim uuring (25 miljonit USA dollarit), näitab statistliselt olulist aju- ja südamevähi juhtude sagenemist loomade hulgas, kes puutusid kokku EMVdega, mis olid nõrgemad kui ICNIRPi (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiaton Protection) kiirgusnormid, mida järgivad enamik riike. Need tulemused toetavad epidemioloogiliste inimuuringute (8) tulemusi RS kiirguse ja ajukasvajariski kohta. Suur hulk eelretsenseeritud teadusartikleid (9) näitab EMVdest tulenevat kahju inimtervisele.
2011. aastal nimetas Rahvusvaheline Vähiuuringute Agentuur (The International Agency for Research on Cancer, IARC), mis on Maailma Terviseorganisatsiooni (WHO) vähiagentuur, EMVd sagedusvahemikus 30 KHz – 300 GHz inimeste jaoks võimalikuks vähitekitajaks (grupp 2B) (10). Kuid uuemad uuringud, nagu ka ülalmainitud NTP uuring ja mitmed epidemioloogilised uuringud, sh viimased uuringud mobiiltelefonide kasutamise ja ajuvähi riskidest, kinnitavad, et RS EMVde kiirgus on inimestele kantserogeenne (11).
Euroopa Keskkonnaakadeemia juhistes EUROPAEM EMF Guideline 2016 (12) märgitakse, et “on olemas tugev tõestusmaterjal selle kohta, et pikaajaline kokkupuude teatud EMVdega on selliste haiguste nagu teatud vähkkasvajad, Alzheimeri tõbi ja meessoo viljatus riskifaktorid… Elektroülitundlikkuse levinud sümptomid on peavalud, keskendumisraskused, unehäired, depression, energiapuudus, väsimus ja gripilaadsed sümptomid”.
Suurenev osa Euroopa elanikkonnast kannatab terviseprobleemide all, mida teaduskirjanduses on juba pikemat aega seostatud EMVde ja juhtmevaba kiirguse ekspositsiooniga. „Scientific Declaration on EHS & multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS)” (13) (teaduslik deklaratsioon elektroülitundlikkuse ja keemilise tundlikkuse (MCS) kohta, Brüssel, 2015) deklareerib: “Tänase teaduslike teadmiste taustal kutsume kõiki riiklikke ja rahvusvahelisi institutsioone tunnustama EÜTd ja MCSi tõeliste meditsiiniliste seisunditena, mis, käitudes kui indikaatorhaigus, võib luua ülisuure avaliku tervise probleemi tulevasteks aastateks üle maailma, st kõikides riikides, kus juurutatakse elektromagnetväljadel põhineva juhtmevaba tehnoloogiaja turustatud keemiliste ainete piiramatut kasutamist… Tegevusetus on kulu ühiskonnale ja seda ei saa enam valida… Me kinnitame üksmeelselt, et tegemist on tõsise ohuga avalikule tervisele…, et tuleb kohaldada ja esmatähtsaks seada olulised ennetusmeetmed, et olla tulevikus valmis seisma silmitsiülemaailmse pandeemiaga.“
Ettevaatusabinõud
2005. aastal võttis EL vastu (14) UNESCO ettevaatuspõhimõtte (The Precautionary Principle) (15): ”Juhul, kui inimtegevused võivad kaasa tuua moraalselt vastuvõetamatut kahju, mis on teaduslikult võimalik, kuid pole kindel, tuleb astuda samme selle kahju vältimiseks või vähendamiseks.”
Resolutsioon 1815 (16) (Euroopa Nõukogu, 2011): ”Võtta kasutusele kõik mõistlikud meetmed, et vähendada kokkupuudet elektromagnetväljadega, eriti sellistega, mida tekitavad mobiiltelefonide raadiosagedused, ja eriti laste ja noorte kokkupuudet, kelle risk haigestuda ajukasvajasse näib olevat suurim…” Assamblee soovitab tõsiselt, et kohaldataks ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable ehk nii madal kui mõistlikult saavutatav) põhimõtet, mis puudutab elektromagnetväljade või kiirguse nii termilist (soojuslikku) kui ka mittetermilist (mittesoojuslikku) või bioloogilist mõju ning parandataks riskihindamise standardeid ja kvaliteeti.
Nürnbergi koodeks (17) (1949) kehtib kõikidele inimkatsetele, mis seetõttu hõlmab ka 5G paigaldamisega kaasnevat uut ja suuremat kokkupuudet RS EMVdega. Kõik seesugused katsed ”peaksid põhinema juba olemasoleval teabel (näiteks eeldused loomade peal läbiviidud katsete põhjal), mis katset õigustavad. Mitte ühtegi katset, kus aprioorselt on alust uskuda, et sellega võib kaasneda surm või kahjustav vigastus, ei tohi läbi viia; väljaarvatud ehk need katsed, kus eksperimenteerivad arstid on ise samuti katsealusteks.” (Nürnbergi koodeks p. 3-5). Juba avaldatud teaduslikud uuringud näitavad, et “aprioorne põhjus uskumaks” reaalsetesse ohtudesse tervisele on olemas.
Euroopa Keskkonnaagentuur (EKA) (The European Environment Agency) (18) hoiatab “igapäevaseadmetest tuleneva kiiritusriski eest”, hoolimata sellest, et kiirgus on WHO ja ICNIRPi standarditest (19) väiksem. EKA lisab: “On palju näiteid, kus minevikus on eksitud ettevaatusprintsiibi vastu, mis on kaasa toonud tõsise ja sageli pöördumatu kahju tervisele ja keskkonnale… Kahjulik kokkupuude võib olla laialdaselt levinud enne, kui on olemas „veenvad“ tõendid pikaajalise kokkupuute kahjulikkuse kohta ja bioloogiline arusaam [mehhanism] (20) sellest, kuidas see kahju tekib.”
“Ohutusjuhendid” kaitsevad tööstust, mitte tervist
Praegused ICNIRPi “ohutusjuhendid” on iganenud. Kõik ülalmainitud kahjulikud mõjud ilmnevad ka siis, kui kiirgus on väiksem ICNIRPi “ohutusjuhendite” (21) piirmääradest, mistõttu on vaja uusi ohutusstandardeid. Eksitavate juhendite põhjuseks on “ICNIRPi liikmete huvide konflikt (22) nendesuhete tõttu telekomi- või elektrifirmadega, mis õõnestab erapoolikust, mis peaks valitsema mitteioniseeriva kiirguse avalikkuse ekspositsiooninormide regulatsiooni puhul… Vähiriskide hindamiseks on vajalik kaasata meditsiini- ja eriti onkoloogiaalase kompetentsiga teadlasi.”
Praegused ICNIRPi/WHO EMVde juhised toetuvad iganenud hüpoteesidele, et “RS EMVde kriitiline mõju inimtervisele ja ohutusele seisneb kiirgusega kokkupuutes oleva koe kuumenemises” (23). Teadlased on aga tõestanud, et paljud eri tüüpi haigused ja kahjustused tekivad ilma kuumenemiseta (24) (“mitte-termiline mõju“) kiirgustasemetel, mis jäävad tublisti alla ICNIRPi juhistes määratud tasemetest.
Me kutsume tungivalt ELi üles
1) võtma kasutusele kõik mõistlikud meetmed, et peatada 5G RS EMVde edasiarendus, kuni sõltumatud teadlased saavad kinnitada, et 5G ja RS EMVde (5G koos 2G, 3G, 4G ja wifiga) tekitatava kiirguse kogutase ei ole ELi kodanikele, eriti imikutele, lastele ja rasedatele, ega ka keskkonnale kahjulik;
2) soovitama kõikidel ELi liikmesriikidel, eriti nende kiirgusohutusametitel, järgida Resolutsiooni nr 1815 ja teavitada oma kodanikke, sh õpetajaid ja arste, RS EMVde kiirguse põhjustatavatest terviseriskidest ning sellest, kuidas ja miks vältida juhtmevaba tehnoloogiat, eriti lasteaedades, koolides, kodudes, töökohtadel, haiglates ja vanadekodudes ja nende läheduses;
3) kutsuma koheselt kokku ELi töörühma, kus puuduks telekomitööstuse mõju ja mis koosneks sõltumatutest ja tõesti erapooletutest EMVde ja terviseteadlastest, kellel ei ole huvide konflikte (i), taashindama terviseriske ja
(i) Vältige sarnaseid vigu, kui Komisjon (2008/721/EC) (25) nimetas SCENIHRi tööstust toetavad liikmed (26), kes esitasid ELile terviseriskide kohta eksitava SCENIHRi raporti(27), andes sellega telekomifirmadele rohelise tule (28) ELi kodanike kiiritamiseks. Seda raportit tsiteeritavad ELi riikide kiirgusametid.
a) määrama uued ja ohutud “maksimaalse koguekspositsiooni standardid” kogu juhtmevabale sidele ELis;
b) uurima kogu- ja kumulatiivset ekspositsiooni, mis mõjutab ELi kodanikke;
c) looma oma kodanike, eriti imikute, laste ja rasedate naiste kaitseks uued Euroopa Liidu ülesed reeglid selle kohta, kuidas vältida kiirgusvälja, mis ületab ELi uutes “maksimaalse koguekspositsiooni standardites” kehtestatud ekspositsiooni, hõlmates seejuures kõiki tüüpe EMVsid;
4) vältima seda, et juhtmevaba-/telekomitööstusel oleks läbi oma lobistide võimalik veenda ELi ametnikke tegema otsuseid edasise RS kiirguse, sealhulgas 5G levitamise kohta Euroopas;
5) eelistama ja kasutama juhtmevaba tehnoloogia asemel juhtmega digitaalset sidetehnoloogiat.
